Our beginning
Mattersteig & Co. Ingenieurgesellschaft for Process Engineering and Environmental Protection mbH is a limited liability company, established in August 1991 and has been operating since October 1, 1991.
Business area
We also investigated water and soil quality initially, in addition to emission and imission measurements. This included sampling & analysis.
Accreditation as a Testing Laboratory
Since obtaining its initial accreditation as a testing laboratory for immission control under § 29b BImSchG (formerly § 26 BImSchG), our business endeavors have progressively shifted towards aligning with the stringent requirements of § 29b BImSchG. This strategic evolution has been accompanied by a continual enhancement of both personnel and technical resources, strengthening our commitment to delivering unparalleled quality and precision in our services.
Accreditation by the DAP
In 2009, Mattersteig & Co. Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH achieved its inaugural accreditation from the Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle (DAkkS), formerly DAP. Our dedicated team possesses comprehensive expertise and hands-on experience in conducting precise emission and immission measurements.
New technical building
We have relocated to a new technical center as we continue to expand our operations.

The designation of Dr. Stephan Mattersteig as an additional Managing Director with the authority to represent the company.

Farewell to Horst Mattersteig as the former Managing Director, he will remain will remain with the company.

Dr. Stephan Mattersteig takes on technical responsibilities, supported by his deputies Alexander Möbius, Helmut Tolksdorf, and Christiane Mattersteig. In particular, Christiane Mattersteig oversees olfactometric emissions measurements.
